What I've been doing

The pictures tell the story...

We can barely walk through the living room to the kitchen.

Getting to the laundry room is a little better.

Luckily we don't sleep upstairs anymore.

Because this is the bed in the bottom right.

Nothing much left to read

Sissy has been supervising my work.

We are both ready for this move to be over.

Hi Betty

thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog. You are right: the flag is of course the State SC flag and not the Charleston flag! Good you mentioned it, thanks! And the sailor is there at the Riverfront Park Memorial, yes.

I wish you good moving and I'll be back to visit your blog.Nice to meet you here. :-)

Your photos show me my future - yikes!
I haven't started boxing yet, as I keep trying to get rid of stuff, books to the library and the Y, giving away the two oldest computers, but it doesn't seem to be making that much of a difference. I know that once things are in boxes, they take up even more room, so I don't want to do that too soon. I'm also leaving pictures on the wall until it's time -- they are safer there, and I know from my years of teaching that baring the walls too soon makes the room feel too sterile and dull. Good luck with your move!!

Hi, Betty - your boxes pull my choke chain - I had better get serious about getting stuff out of my house. Isn't it amazing how things accumulate.
Good luck. Soon you will be done and relaxing in your new home. Ellouise
